2 days in a row!

Total: 1700 yards
500yd warm-up
10x100 on the 2:00 (100 free, 25 free/50 back/25 free, 25 free/50 br pull/25 free)
100 yd dolphin kick on back
100yd free cool down


I also walked 1.11 miles on the treadmill prior to getting into the pool.
After I got out of the pool, a lady and her daughter which were waiting for a swim lesson complimented me on my "swimming by moving my belly up and down." That would be my dolphin kick on my back... I smiled and said thanks. Then I said, I used to be a lot better! Actually, I never was very good at any form of kicking. I used to get 6 lengths or so behind in college kicking sets back in the day. I never skipped a lap though. I am proud of that, even though it was embarrassing and even though I felt bad making everyone else wait! Hopefully, they respected me for finishing the set though.
I should have just smiled, thanked the lady, and left it at that. I need to learn to be content with my role as "Lap Swim All Star." That's right- you old men, watch out. I will be racing you when you don't even know it! That way I can win!!!
