My left elbow was pretty painful while I was swimming today- so I just took it easy most of the time. That is until I was told that in 10 minutes a bday party of little kids was coming in to take up most of the lanes. And alas, moving to another lane did not seem like an option once I scouted the lap swimmers which were already there... So, I pushed myself a little harder to get my laps done before they arrived, and magically my elbow did not hurt so badly when I had something else to think about! Motivation is key to performance!

4x75 bk/br pull/free on the 1:50
3 x 4 sets of 4x 100 free on the 2:00- each 100 with one length "uptempo" and then then 100 yard stretch   with back and br pull after the 100s
